Quick question: What would you charge for a national commercial buyout to be seen (and hopefully heard) on Lifetime?
The correct answer gets a box of q-tips and a quart of Vermont Cider.
Thanks! _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

My guess for that correct answer is $2000.
And I could really use the Q-tips. _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Gee, thanks Jeffrey!
I already took a massive discount today...to be the voice of The American Cancer Society (for their internal stuff so far). But that is a labor of love, so that's a horse of a different color, Dorothy. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Is this for the same commercial that just popped up on voices, com, where they stated their budget in the $250-500 range, claiming it would only be aired 4X total? _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

If so, then The gig at Voices.com wrote: | At CR Jewelers we've been providing the best diamonds at a premium price for 3 decades |
Since they admit to charging their customers a premium, they should be able to afford to pay their talent better. _________________ Jeff

Are you guys giving me advice or bidding on the quart of Vermont Cider?
Actually, it is the "$250-$500" voices.com job, and then they contacted me directly for their rates. The ad is to be shown four times only (in theory) only on Lifetime. This is through a local production company that does nice work ( and I can take the subway to their studio) so I responded in a manner that hopefully will open the door to more work with the proper follow-through but probably won't land me this particular job as I won't do it for $500. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

LIFETIME is barely National. Just a cable channel with Lisa Hartman
made for TV movies.
Why do it for $500? Because somebody else will, and you'll be out $500.
Some jobs pay more than others. Dollar cost averaging. _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

Bill is kinda on target. I can sell :30 spots on a Lifetime group leg (12million homes) for between $20-$50. Not really big budget. It's all relative.
