Anyone ever used one of these MXL Abbey Road style pop shields? Harlan H is re-branding one for his v/o mic.

I'm wondering if these work? And secondly what about resonance? Given the trouble I've had with anglepoise mic arms ringing, I want to avoid anything that rings or colours my audio.

Currently we use a Pauly superscreen which works perfectly but takes up valuable script space.

I looked into those a few months back.

I did find one reviewer that claimed he could hear give a metalic ring to some plosives.

so I stuck with the fabric pop filter.

But I never tried it personally.

If they could guarantee I'd sound as good as the Beatles I'd buy one. Until then I'm still trying to do it without protection.
