I was surprised by some unusually prompt customer service today.
Lately, I have been nagged by a very slight shorting out in my Sennheiser MKH 416 when using on location for TV stuff. Very annoying. I figured I could drop it off with one of my tech buddies and give it up for a couple of weeks until they could take a look.
On a whim, I emailed Sennheiser service and described my problem, expecting to be told to ship it to them along with the $35 just to look at it. Again, gone for several weeks--at least.
To my surprise, Dave from Sennheiser Service called my office today and walked me through the repair.....myself....me...Mr. No-tech.
The call came in less than 24 hours after I sent the email.
WOW!

I think he said for that modification just send the 421 and a check for $2,974.00 + $35 for handling. _________________ Wild Willie Edwards

You forgot about the $325 for the upgraded shockmount. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser
