Thanks Kick! It sure makes things easier and I love not having to print anymore.
But really, only us VO types could ever get giddy with excitement over a monitor and a shelf in a booth. I know I did. LOL! _________________ Ben

I have a 4x4 Whisper Room, like Rob, and thought I only had two cable ports, but I found a third along one of the side walls. Give it a look, again. |
I definitely do not have any other ones, sadly. When did you get your booth? I'm wondering if they've started to add more since I got mine. _________________ Lou Zucaro

Ben, your booth is killer. Is that an IKEA shelf on the wall there? And yes, I do in fact covet your monitor. |

I have the 5x7 Whisperroom with a bunch of panels from GIK Acoustics which solved the boxy sound problem. On my wall panels that have plugs, there is one plug at the bottom and another plug at the top. They are on the "ventilation" panels. It took me a good while to notice them. So you should have a total of 4 plugs for wires if you have 2 ventilation systems. _________________ John Weeks Voice Overs

Thanks! Actually the shelf came from Lowe's except mine is a 24 inch shelf.

It is not the strongest shelf ever made...but it handles the task of wireless keyboard and mouse with no problems. _________________ Ben

The 4x6 Whisper Room only has a single ventilation system / panel, and as you said, there are two plugs on that wall section. _________________ Lou Zucaro

Not to sound repetitious, but that monitor is so cool!

If you are at all handy, building your own booth is a cost efficient option. I love mine! I bought the plans from DAWBOX, that now has an update to their design.

I, like Ms. Beam, used DAWBOX plans. I changed my plans from 4x4 to 4x6, and they promptly offered a 4x6 version, naturally. I still am tuning it in, but I LOVE my booth. It's funky and retro, not unlike me!
Here is a link to my new blog, I posted pix and build details on it.

And yes, Soundgun hooked up all my toys and made 'em play nice together.
Now to hone my skills up to the level of my studio!
