If all the others were greyed out and rather drab looking but yours brightly colored, you might have something very effective there!

I like the first image, but all the "others" should be the same color.

I think this is much better.

I dunno, you might want to add some adjectives describing your voice... I mean, it seems that EVERYONE SAYS their voice stands out. You need to prove why, in very little text.

Edited to add: or, maybe my question is, what are you putting on the flip side of the card to differentiate yourself from the crowd?

Jeff,

FWIW, how about "The voice that stands YOU out from the crowd."

Jeff,

Michael has a capital suggestion here. My twist on that would be: "Want to stand out from the crowd? Hire voice actor Jeffrey Kafer." And I'm so far from a graphically skilled person that I hesitate to make this suggestion, but what if you had your "stand out person" not be red but rather the blue from your logo and make the main text black with the "stands out" in that same blue?

Jeff, I agree with everyone who's said that this is better. And just to put a finer point on what Caryn mentioned, I think it's important to make sure that you (your voice) can deliver what your branding promises. Does your voice stand out from the rest? How? And more importantly, how will that benefit your clients?

As Michael pointed out, and Bob seconded, good branding is done from your clients' perspective. Make it "all about them," not all about you.

Yeah, this one works much better (the one with all the gray guys and you as the red dude)

Also...why don't you have a version of your logo without a background? (just curious)

Thanks for the final tips guys. I definitely changed it to "make your next project stand out". As a Dale Carnegie grad (today!), I shoulda remembered the principle "speak in terms of the other person's interest".

Lou, the artist who made my logo didn't provide one with a clear background, and I didn't think to ask for one.

Can you get one now? If they still have the files, hopefully they didn't do something silly like merge all the layers down.

When I was making toys, one of our concept artists ALWAYS merged down. I finally had to stop paying her unless she gave us layered files. Smile

Nice image, and good feel.
