Make me an offer. I simply do not like it. If it helps I paid $750 for it. |

You don't like it because you bought it used and it might have some issues internally? Or you don't like it because it just doesn't work for your voice and type of work?
If it is the latter, I could take it off your hands. Do you do Paypal?
The shipping and duties to the US offsets the price a bit, I could do $600 USD. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

It works fine and is technically sound (no pun intended). Was used by a location sound man for a little while so has been used with care. I don't like the way it sounds and don't have the time or inclination to play with position EQ etc. If you'd like it you're most welcome and paypal is fine. Email your address and I sent it asap. |

Hey, if you don't have this mic and work in promos, make a solid offer! It's the way to go for sure! |

Indeed Philip, Buy the mic and not the BS but when you do, give the mic the fairness it deserves and position it in a way more suitable for crisp clean vocals.
I'm not a raving fan of the 416, but it's a strong mic for most broadcasting VO uses. _________________ Joe Szymanski

hehehehehehe! I believe that is the most eloquent way of saying the truth possible.
A carpenter doesn't buy a tool because of the hype or because someone else uses the tool. He or she buys a tool because it works for his/her style and level of quality. What is "standard" for one person is not necessarily "standard" or even a usable product for another in the same industry.
When in radio (a hundred years ago) I used a Sennheiser MD421. Many other stations used the same microphone. To my young mind I thought the MD421 was "the" microphone. Then I left Radio Station one and began work at Radio Station two. Different microphone, different sound. This was my first foray into discovering the "hype factor" and how it affects each and every industry and consumer. Later, I discovered the world of the Recording Studio and my mind and thoughts about microphones and audio recording equipment in general, were irrevocably changed.

Why don't we discuss the upcoming election instead.....it's likely to get less heated than the current topic... |
