I'll audition off a screen...but I need it on paper for a real read, especially narrations....old dog. Don't like new tricks...For some narrations - I like to woodshed the copy - hard to do that on a screen, .besides, I mark all the info about the job (Fee, date voiced, file format, contact info -for many clients I have more than one contact) on the script itself so it's a poor man's back up...which I am actually going to have to use since I can't rescue some accounting info off my crashed computer. _________________ Moe Egan

ME TO! I need to write down the info on the script, even if I'm just about to put it into quick books. I think it's a great habit. Plus it gives me the hard copy to compare before sending an invoice for some clients who I only invoice once a month. _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Does anyone else use teleprompter software for long-form material?
For some reason, when the scrolling speed is adjusted correctly, I find it comforting to be freed from thinking about pages (or screenloads) and it helps me maintain pacing.
At least it works for me. _________________ --Michael
