the gain a is important. i only know this because i think todd helped courVO with his. if used ever-so-briefly ...

Yes, Todd and Bob have helped me with it... and there are references to it here in the archives.
When I ran into the Blue Microphone people in THEIR booth at the VOICE 2008 gathering.... they didn't know much about it.
Todd couldn't find it anymore on their site either.... and the fact is those gain drivers don't work with Vista... at least that was my experience, and one of the reasons I couldn't use it for my mobile set-up anymore. My laptop has Vista (an OS which I LOVE BTW).
However, to answer the issue brought up: The SnowBall that is now in transit to the waiting arms of Jeffrey Kafer is of the generation that WILL need those drivers.... Jeff.... I've got 'em, I think, still, and so does Todd (probably).
Jus' let me know.
