I was pulled out from my Trivia Master gig uptown to do a quick spot on the local news program. We had the Extreme Home Makeover crew in Charlotte a little while back so they wanted opinions about the house.

I happened to have one.

Clicky click below.

So...tell us what you really think, Bob! Wink

It's interesting.
I actually love that show because I think they have helped some deserving poeple...THAT SAID...I actually never thought of what the neighbors thought....the episodes I've seen all seem to have the houses on lots with no one else around....food for thought!

Hey...did I say you looked pretty cool? Wink

...and I also think Ty is hot! Inoccent

"...this thing...errrrrrrrrrr...looming next to their home..."

Perfect inflection on the "errrrrrrrrr" Bob...no doubt in my mind what your opinion of the build is, even if the only word I could have heard was the "errrrrrrrr." I ditto Edo...thinking there's a great career in voicework here, Bob!

I just think it's odd that the Fox affiliate is doing a story on something that is, first and foremost, an ABC TV show. But I suppose you're not going to hear any negative comments in the ABC affiliate's coverage.

Bob,
I've wondered how the families are able to keep up monetarily with the over-whelming expenses of these fabulous new homes. Insurance, utilities, maintenance and such. Do they ever re-visit the recipients and see how they are faring? I'm not a regular viewer.
BTW, thanks for not being fearful of being honest. I, too think with the right training and motivation you have a great future in the wonderful world of VO.

Well, since you asked, Roger... I found a couple out there.

and here.

The majority of results I got were local coverage of houses being built or sites of companies that participated in the projects.

Thanks, Greg.
And Todd, I'm with you. About what I assumed.
It's like winning a car or other large prize only to find out you owe a bunch of tax and other fees to claim it.
