Gails of laughter just echoed through the halls of 66 Main St, North Stonington< CT. USA.
Kate (my wife) and I are wiping the tears from our eyes now.
There's a future for you in stand-up Sir.

Thanks -- I needed a good laugh today!
On the downside, I'll now be hard pressed to not have your response in my head when I inevitably next hear a counterpart direction. _________________ --Michael

My DH, who spent years working as a studio engineer, would love that list -- except that it might remind him of some of the clients who came in and said exactly those things... _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Philip, they're excellent!
I'm sitting in the office chuckling to myself right now, and nobody knows why. I wish they'd stop looking at me like that.
....it will now be impossible for me to go into a studio without using one of those responses.
Thankfully, some of my clients have a sense of humour! |

Direction I'd like to hear kind of a cross between Patrick Stewart and Rowan Atkinson.
Response So would I, I'll be happy to wait here while you book them. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

Saw this on Phillip O's blog today while catching up...priceless! Can I play?
Direction: Please make it sound like you're making love to the microphone as you say the client's name.
Response: You know, I think I might have misunderstood the red "In Use" sign that's lit up outside the studio door... |
