Other than speed, what are the advantages?

Seriously tho... I believe cost and coverage would be my primary concern before jumping on. I'm sure our resident tech-heads could shine some light on this. |

Shall we assume you are referring to an iPhone? Do you already have an iPhone 2.5G?
If you do, and it works fine, no reason to cross grade. You'll need to sign a new 2 year contract over which you'll pay more for this new phone than the old one. Only improvements are twice the speed Internet in some locations and a GPS antenna. 3G sucks more battery life as well, as does the GPS. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Thx my Coolness supporters
I suspected that so thx 4 clearing that up George. I told my wife that as much as I love the new toys when they come out, I'm tired of paying 4 phones since they usually end up being outdated within about 7 months or so.
I went with the BlackBerry 8130 from Vz... I'm happy with their service and it was free.
Apparently it's "3G" on their evdo network.
