Hey Source Connect peeps:
Does having Source Connect Desktop act as a replacement for otherwise having to run the Source Connect plugin within ProTools or a VST program? I understand you have to already have the main plugin to begin with.
Is Source Connect Desktop compatible with the Mic Port Pro?

Yes. Since I don't have ProTools & my version of Vegas is not VST compatible (or whatever the correct terminology is!) I use JUST the desktop version.

Correct. You can buy the Standard version of SC and then install & use the Desktop version.

I haven't upgraded to 3.0 yet, but the previous version worked great.
It's just another tool in the box.
