|
|
Hi All,
I have a minty fresh sE Titan for sale. $500 + shipping takes it. Comes with mic, shock mount w/ extra rubber band, cable and metal flight case.
It's in like new condition and I've only used it in my smoke free studio.
It's posted on eBay for $550 or best offer, but I can pull it down if you'd rather deal through vo-bb.com. Even if you go through ebay, I'll honor a $500 best offer from a vo-bb member.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180267079088&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=008
Cheers!
Josh

You're selling it? The Titan is a super VO mic and I thought you sounded great on it on a the sample I heard. I say this being no fan of SE.
If I hadn't just bought a mic I'd be sorely tempted by this offer.
BTW, which mics are you using these days? _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Hi Lance! Thanks for the kind words! Now you have me second guessing myself. I'm going to have to pull it out of the box and listen to it again.
What mic did you recently buy?!
Lately Ive been hooked on a Blue Bluebird. When I'm not using that, I'm using John Weeks' TLM103 which I acquired in a trade with him.
I'm actually getting further away from VO, and doing more production and music. I'm needing to add another guitar to the collection, so I'm getting rid of my least used mic to fund it. |

Ooh... an sE Titan! Grrrrrreat mic for VO. Been hired by a studio that uses one a couple of times and I always left with a smile on my face from the way it sounds. Crystal clear and hardly any use of a pre neccesary. Last time I visited there the chain was no chain at all, plugged directly into an Mbox 2 with a software 'pre' from McDSP (plug-in). |

I just bought a 103 used but brand-new online with shockmount/road case etc. for a song. The owner had bought a whole bunch of gear for a podcast/broadcast division of a magazine and then the project was canceled. He ended up selling brand new RE20s, 414s, 103s and decent console and studio hardware.
As I usually do, I looked it up by searching "TLM103" instead of having a space or dash in there...I pulled the same trick searching for "Senheisser" to get a mint 416 for $600. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

How are you liking the TLM? This is my second one. It's a love hate relationship. Some days it is my absolute favorite mic, other days not so much.
Like any mic though, sometimes it just doesn't fit what I'm doing, but other times it's just what the doctor ordered.
EDIT: Ooops, looks like I posted this right as your were posting your thoughts of the TLM103 on another thread. _________________ Josh Mahler

I came into the studio this morning and my sE Titan was crying. She is lonely and looking for a good new home that will cherish and hold her. I can't anymore as my heart now belongs to another.
Just $475 + shipping and she can live with you. She will most definitely bring you bring many years of happiness and joy. _________________ Josh Mahler

Josh,
I think it misses it's ADK friend. Go ahead and just send it to me so they can be back together!
Good luck my friend. _________________ John Weeks Voice Overs

I think you're right, John. Hamburg II sent Titan a text message the other day. They yearn to be together again. _________________ Josh Mahler

If you cross a Titan with a Hamburg, do you wind up with a Big Mac?
Sonically, I think you end up with a TLM-103...or very close to it. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Very clever Lance!
That got me to thinking of how cool it would be if it were possible to cross breed mics. I know Josh wouldn't be able to sleep at night thinking of all the possibilities! _________________ John Weeks Voice Overs
