So, it wasn't a paying gig because I volunteered to do it for a gentleman I go to Church with, (he found out I work in radio so I was the obvious target for these projects) and of course it was a "for the ministry" situation, so I didn't mind.
I am the first announcer (not the good sounding British VO guy) and this was my first go at VO so be nice ...
you have to scroll to the bottom for the "streaming" audio...

Kasey,

Thanks for posting these links. Very nice, especially for a first effort.

Congrats!

So the question is, did they make you read the same line over and over again or just once for each? Smile

A couple years back, I read an interview with Kiefer Sutherland who mentioned that it was quite a few episodes into "24" before he asked them why he had to keep reading "The following takes place between 7 am and 8 am" over and over. "Do we not have this already?" he asked.

Heh.

It was just one read...the cd set is meant for radio broadcast so I did topic intros for each that are on the cd's that they gave me, other than that, I just did a 3 page read...approxamately...with alot of the same lines but I guess the continuity and inflection on each was maybe better than piecemealing a bunch of workparts.

P.S. thanks for all the nice comments from everyone who posted and those who wanted to but didn't
