I've had nothing but good luck with system restore over the years.
(watch it fail me this time)
.....and I don't have fancy pants -- just thongs -- but all the rest of it is true...

(X-posted in the ISDN thread)
SUCCESS..!!!
I'm now ISDN'd...!!!
This morning (Sat 6/21/08), Bob Souer successfully dialed into my AudioTX ISDN line clear as a bell. Now, I was unable to call him, so something still needs to be ironed out -- probably with my long-distance carrier, or maybe a capi2 driver, but I'm essentially there, since 99% of the time I'll take incoming calls for ISDN..
Bob -- Thank you.... the same to everyone else who listened to my whining, and offered support, moral and technical.
I'm encouraged by my own persistence as well... just too stupid or obstinate to give up, I guess.
Blessings,

Dave,
It was a delight to talk with you and connect with you. You're very welcome for my meager bit of help. _________________ Be well,

Jumping into the party here !
It seems like the natural thing to do. I got my self a dongle, a modem, NT1 (Net Work Adapter not Mic) and downloaded the software all Audio TX.
So far the dongle sees the software and that is a good start. Now I need to see if my local buddies at the Telco can hook me up some copper wire with ISDN service. If all that works then I too can cook with ISDN. What a trip.
Maybe working for Western Electric Network Systems with help me get a clean install, then maybe not. But I am armed with the essential info. Here goes!
After that on with building the Memorial Bridge. _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"
