... well at least the voice of. For those that missed it, Mr. Pat voiced the President in the movie “I am Legend”. Funny thing is, this was pointed out to me by my daughter Kristina since I have not seen the movie. So, since we still had the movie from NetFlix I had to at least listen for the President. Toward the beginning of the movie when Will Smith is having a flash back and they show him and his family fleeing the city in a SUV, they pause to listen to the voice on the radio. Low and behold it’s none other than Mr. Pat voicing a very emotional and believable President of the US. Although this was a bit short, you can hear the emotion in his voice and get a sense that he really felt what he was saying. This is a very fine example of a true pro at work. I’ll have to watch the rest of the movie to see if it is as good this one scene.
Pat has my vote. |

Jon,
At least in the real world, I'm not sure the universe is ready for Pat Fraley as President! But, thanks for the "heads up" about this scene. _________________ Be well,

Warning! If you're not a fan of REALLY SCARY movies you may want to skip watching this film, no matter how good Pat Fraley and Will Smith are. I hadn't seen any trailers before going and I thought it was going to be just a clever survival movie. Holy Crap! Must have literally jumped outta my seat 20 times in the theater!

Got to watch this movie with a friend who worked on some of the special effects. Kinda cool to hear the ins and outs of certain shots/sequences he worked on.
Didn't even think about the president's voice on the radio! Now I'm gonna have to put it on my Netflix list and listen for it! _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Without giving away too much, I will say that the scene when his dog ran into the building before him is up there as one of the most intensely scary scenes I've seen in a movie in a long, long time. _________________ Lou Zucaro

If you like that sort of apocalyptic kind of movie, there's also one from 2002 called 28 Days Later that is one of my alltime favorites...i |

And the sequel, 28 Weeks Later (admittedly, not as good as the original, which was actually pretty art-y) _________________ Lou Zucaro
