Cry

It's a shame when talent such as this passes away.

"What I will miss most is his easy laugh every time he said to me, 'Nothing is impossible.' " Spielberg said

Dennis Murren, ILM's senior visual effects supervisor, said, "Stan took risks and said 'yes' when other creature people would say no,..."

What a GREAT way to be remembered!

Of course I didn't know the guy, but Terminator, in particular was one of those rare movies that, the moment you walked out of the theater, you knew you'd just seen something special and something that would change the direction of movies, even if just a little bit, from that point forward.

One of the great things about sci-fi is that ANYthing is possible. Terminator is one of those movies that got it right...action, adventure, the future and the present co-mingling, drama, tragedy, humor and even a little bit of genuine romance and love thrown in.

I suppose in the event that some people here haven't seen it, I won't say anything more, but Winston's contributions to that movie helped to create scenes and images that really stuck with you as a viewer.
