I just got a Yamaha mixer and am trying that out - before, I was using a Tascam US-122 USB audio interface.
My issue is that I can't seem to be able to hear myself as I record. I can when I playback, but not "live." There is no manual with it (I inherited it). Am I supposed to bypass something in the computer? _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Scott,
Which Yamaha mixer? Which sound card are you using now? If you need a manual, I may be able to find you a .pdf version.
