...getting ready to go ISDN this week....question: where do you have your codec set up? I have been told to have it, along with my pre-amp, at my fingertips when recording. However, in my 4x4 WhisperRoom space is at a premium and I would rather not cramp it up even more with a rack/pre-amp etc.
Just wondering if most people have it in their booth or outside the booth.

Dunno about the heat your codec will put off but if you had that 737 in your booth, ohmysweatygoodness! |

in my case, there was no choice. the musicam roadrunner has an exhaust fan.
mine sits out next to the computer and the mixing board, with just me and the mic in the booth. i rarely need adjustments, but if necessary i just step out of the booth for a moment. no one has given me any hassle about that in the 10 years i've used it. _________________ rowell gormon
