Who do I get to be? I would love to be "Inga" in "Young Frankenstien", (especially if Rowell gets to be Igor/ Marty Feldamn..........Rowell. you are MUCH better looking!)

DB,
actually I did not have both SPIDS (just one of them), when Donovan and Rowell were setting Audio TX up for me, but Donovan guessed at the other number,(and when I FINALLY got in touch with ISDN repair, it turned out he was right)! So they are both correct, but Bob figured it could possibly be a problem with my NT 1 or the line itself. I figure with Donovan (coming over to help me again), Bob, Rowell, and now Frank going through the SAME thing, I am BOUND to get this done with all these goog-looking men!

Wendy,

With the obvious exception of Donovan, this is clearly not a typo! Laugh

LOL! Obviously, I'm bringing up the rear in the looks department...

Well, I won't get into all the details on Wendy's situation. (I'll wait to see if she will divuldge the most current happenings.) But I will say that I worked with her over the phone while the AT&T guy was there Wednesday night. I couldn't connect to her and she couldn't call me either. But then when the guy connected his superphone tester thingy, I was able to connect to him. We now know that the ISDN line itself is working. I also don't think the AudioTX program is the culprit (I had her match all settings to mine). So that just leaves the NT1 and the ISDN card (Eicon Diva). I plan on going over there Friday afternoon for a bit with my NT1 and switching them out to see if it works.

Wow! An update - well sort of...

I now have ISDN service to the house - Good sign.

I have my Eicon Diva and AdTran Ace NT1 hooked up - Another good sign.

Bad sign #1. The NT1's Power light is on, Error light is RED and Ready light is flashing - fast.

Bad sign #2. Diva Monitor shows no B lines active.

Now what? Any help appreciated... please email, call (I will call you back so as it is not on your dime or quarter or whatever) or pray... I can use the help.

Bad sign #3. AudioTx isn't coming for another week or so.

Any help appreciated - good vibes welcome...

Toodles

Gosh Frank, I wish I could be of assistance, since you're always so helpful to me. But, as you know, this is not my thang. Need something copyedited? I'm your girl.

So... I'll just send good vibes your way that everything gets working!!!

I wasn't going to touch that one, but I'm glad you were willing to toss yourself on the grenade.

OK folks, I wanted to give an update on this issue. Today, after Wendy had a ISDN specialist (yes, someone that actually knew all about it and how to fix it Gasp ) come to her house and tinker with her setup... we completed a successful ISDN connection! I could hear the excitement in her voice... and I know the feeling. Last we spoke, she was trying to make sure that her long distance service was set up correctly as well, since I was obviously a local call.

Don't you just love happy endings?
