I consider the big foamy windscreens that came with my NT2 and 414 sleeping bags for them. I take them off to record and put them back on the rest of the time. It seems connecting and disconnecting needlessly in the relative secure environment of a home studio would do more harm than a little dust.

75% of the time I put it in the case after my last recording. The other 25% of the time I leave it but cover it, cuz I just don't feel like moving it. |
