Honestly she's really good about not imposing a limit on my spending.
She also hates shopping. The only thing she buys a lot of is shoes. We aren't talking dressy shoes, just sneakers and clogs. I think she owns one pair with heels. Besides that and the need to feed every animal in the neighborhood, she has no other money absorbing habits.
She's a keeper! _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

Actually I did!
Hey I'm actually one of the weird people, I'd RATHER owe a bit (A BIT!) than get a huge refund.
I don't like giving the gov't an interest free loan!

Liz,
I'm with you, except maybe get back just a bit. I'd rather have the money through the year than get back a big check when it's worth less. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

It seems there is a misunderstanding between the terms "rebate" and "refund."
Your "rebate" should be between $300 and $1,200 and should arrive sometime in May.
I am not a tax accountant, but I know someone that played one on TV. _________________ Wild Willie Edwards

Oh DUH!
I'm in such tax mode...I just read that as "Refund!"
Ahhhh yes,,,that rebate....Probably:...as an estimate:
1/3 Bills
1/3 Savings
1/3 New sneakers for me & DH (we both seriously neeeed new sneakers!...we live in them & haven't had a new pair in about 5 years!) and maybe an evening out....
EDIT...OK upon re-reading this post, it looks like I have no money to buy sneakers!....yeah...not quite the case...It's just that I have been saying that I need to go out & buy new sneakers for about 2 months now, so much so that it has become a joke in our house!....but I REALLY need to go & do it....

This is the year of additional training, so I will invest in VOICE 2008, and other opportunities with some voice coaches. I am thinking about Source Connect, and a Mackie Mixer. Oops, I think I've spent it all up now. _________________ Bobbin Beam

What an interesting topic.
We've counted our REBATE before it hatched. That's what bought that new camera I've been playing with. Well, most of it. The child credit part I figure belongs to the baby so I'll put $300 in his savings account.
We've already filed our tax returns since we're getting a refund. The REFUND will be going entirely towards our retirement. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog
