Back in '54 when Elvis was the Prince of Pebble and Tilt I decided that my Wee Huttie needed some work. I contacted a joiner and builder then ripped it apart leaving only a useable Heath Robinson shell. It worked fine but was a short term measure. 432 years later, no sign of the tradesmen. Saturday was D-Day for me. Do I wait any longer? No. Called a company in London and in around 10 days time a "Wee Huttie II" will arrive in a van. I have to attack my office with a few power tools to get it ready and then get a few heavy lifters in to help me install my room within a room .... We get there in the end. |

Philip,
I'd be happy to lend a hand if it's not finished before I arrive. I'm heavy and I've been known to lift things now and then. _________________ Be well,

What was wrong with Wee Huttie the First?
I thought you had a noise floor that couldn't be got for less than $50,000 or something. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

No window and a damp problem in one wall. All was and to a degree still is fine. It's just easier to wibble and wobble, move to the left and do builder type stuff than it is to move house - Truth is, we like it here and don't need a bigger house but we do need some different shapes and spaces. |

Call from the delivery company this afternoon. One ton of panels, flooring, roof and a five layer Bavarian loaded door will arrive late on Tuesday. |

"Bavarian loaded door"?
Does that mean it's full of yummy creme pudding? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I hope Anne makes Jazz a "Construction Foreman" kerchief. I am sure he'll oversee all aspects of this adventure, and he needs to look the part. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
