I went into one faculty member's office one day. He had a sticky note on the front of his computer right above the floppy disk slot.

My DH used to work for a company that did filming of people's houses for real estate sales. This was before the internet..
as it turned out, the whole concept flopped because the agents couldn't remember how to put the tapes in the machines properly and they'd just give up and not use them.
true story. _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

I thought about sending an invoice to you for half a day's pay, because that's about how much time I spent after you posted this link reading through that side. My head hurts from laughing so hard and, subsequently, crying so hard.

Oh my I need to be honest--that's about what is happening to me as I try to learn how to use my new recording equipment. Well not exactly as bad but close.

In the early days of radio, I watched as one of the salesmen threw a cart (remember those??) into the trash can. "What's wrong with it?" I asked. He replied, "You mean you can use them again?!" _________________ "When I was your age, we had to dial to get online"
