Yesterday morning a lady called Christine sends an email. New enquiry. Will I, how much, how long will it take? I respond and she thanks me and says cost is fine as is delivery. Afternoon, script arrives and Christine calls on the phone. I have a problem with a pronunciation and explain that script to picture times won't work - overwritten. She says she'll ask the client about pronunciation and get them to cut words from script. 30 minutes later new script arrives, all fine n dandy. We go into session and we're all done in 20 minutes.
"Thanks Philip. Is it ok if I pay you on Thursday?"
Making me wait 3 days! Oh the shame of it.
Nice when you get a good one isn't it? |

Perhaps I need to sleep more!
My dreams don't include enough of those clients.

It is nice to get a good one.
I recently picked up a job from V123 where the seeker confided in me now she had sent an email to nearly everyone who submitted a demo with why they weren't chosen, what she liked and didn't like, etc... She said that many of her replies to those emails were ones of surprise, like no other seekers do that normally. She considered it part of the process.
I let her know how rare she is. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

I love my new narration clients that don't balk when I ask for a percentage up front. Those, I happily give 30 days later on. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

I recently got one - from StarsnSites if you believe it - and he told me he wanted to pay via Paypal. I sent him my Paypal information and the money was in my account when I got the script. Yup, there are some good ones out there. _________________ Elaine

Philip, you are fortunate. I had a new client this week tell me I would be paid "before you know it".
He did not pay me until the NEXT DAY. |

So, he paid you after you knew it! The Cad! I recommend the services of Mr Julian Strobe-G'lightly MA(Cantab), Litigation Partner of Messers, Mister, Miester, Master, Mistress, Master, Miss, Ms and Ma'am - Solicitors and Commissionaires of Oaths, Wallingford, Oxfordshire to instigate legal proceedings, either before he knows it or after the fact.
Mr Strobe-G'lightly once sued a man who had never met me for negligence. Most would agree that not meeting me is a pretty negligent way to go through life. |

Philip,
I quite agree and hope to correct that oversight on my part in another couple of months. _________________ Be well,
