Someone must have left a crate of Mac Mini computers in the back of the warehouse for a little over a year and just found them. Woot.com is offering these for just $499 plus $5 shipping today. I keep seeing how many folks love them for VO work because they're so quiet.
If you know Woot, you know it may not be available long.

Yep, gone.
They must have been overstock of older systems considering they still had OS X .4 (10.4) installed and not 10.5. It was a sweet deal none the less. |

Especially since they were Intel models. Could have loaded Boot Camp, Leopard and WinXP on there. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

Bob -- Absolutely. I think Leopard comes with BootCamp , but I prefer VMWare Fusion since there is no need to reboot to run Windows. |

Oh you bet, I deal a lot with VMware on campus along with Parallels. And you are right, Leopard comes with BootCamp, that's what makes it a good deal. Free! _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.
