It's one small piece of the overall marketing strategy. If you think you can keep up with a blog with interesting content, then go for it. If you're going to run out of juice after a few weeks, then it's probably not worth it. _________________ Jeff

I got a gig for Sara Lee from my MySpace page, which is the closest I've come to that. I agree with what Jeff says re: being able to keep the content up. _________________ Lou Zucaro

That's awesome!
I don't think keeping up with the content would be hard for me since I'm in radio full time. I just have a limited amount of time I can work on my voice over / production business and I'm wondering if creating a blog would be worth the time investment. I agree that it's a "small part of the marketing strategy" I just want a good ROI.
Just out of curiosity did any one else on this board have similar success with sites like myspace and facebook? |

Isaiah,
I blog about voiceover and can point to a recent job as, for sure, coming directly because of my blog. I know there have been 2 or 3 other jobs where my blog at least played a part in the decision to hire me because the clients told me so. _________________ Be well,
