Today... You are an established Voice Actor. You love what you do, and this is your only means of support.
Tomorrow... You wake up and your voice is totally gone. Forever. There is nothing that can be done to get it back.
You are still drawn to the business of Voice Overs... and would like to stay in the mainstream. What business would you get into that would be supportive for those who still have a voice. _________________ "Bailey"

I hope this is hypothetical! It sounds like a horrible X-Files episode, though.
Anyway, to answer seriously, I would definitely say writing, since there are SO many bad commercial scripts out there that simply are not written for the way people actually talk. _________________ Lou Zucaro

Be an agent, producer, engineer.... plenty of things to do. I could always go back to testing video games, I suppose... _________________ Jeff

I'm with DB... I'd be an agent. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

With last year's surgery around the vocal chords I gave it a bit of thought, and since I'm already a broadcast producer and writer secondary to my VO work, the shift would be fairly easy. But if I had to drop those as well, one of my big joys, minus the horrible financial headaches, was producing theater. Bringing a crew together that made an audience roar with laughter, be moved to tears, applaud like crazy...giving actors a chance to give their all...it feels wonderful. The roar of the greasepaint, the smell of the crowd...there's not much like it for me.

I produced summer theater for 8 years, and theater year-round for 5 of those 8.
If I learned one thing it's that I never want to produce theater again!!!
Yes, it is most gratifying when it all comes together, but herding hyenas simply wasn't a blast 12 out of 12 months of the year.

Yikes...yeah, hope this is hypothetical!
I'd go back to being behind the glass, writing better copy & casting.

Writing and producing. Between Project TERRA and helping out on all those music videos I would be marginally less clueless than asking if you want fries with that... _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!
