Hey Gang,

Me and the wife are heading out to California this week! I have some VO business in Los Angeles, and we are stopping in San Diego and Napa Valley as well....

San Diego Feb 2-4,
LA Feb 5-9,
and then Napa Feb 10-11...

If any of you want to get together for a Starbucks or single malt Scotch(or blended for that matter) or whatever and talk a little shop maybe, or maybe not...! Just let me know or PM me here at the VO-BB....I'll have my cell phone with me also, 513-312-3661.

I know, I know, there's a blended blasphemer in every crowd....but I have come to appreciate the attributes of White Horse, a blend made with Lagavulin....although the whole Johnny Walker thing still has me scratching my head...(my apologies to you non-Scotchers for talking in technical jargon)

My late, beloved grandfather used to drink Johnny Walker -- a shot every afternoon after getting done with his chores. When I lived with them on the farm for a few weeks during my college days, he'd pour me a shot and we'd sit on the back patio and sip. Never did get used to the taste, but the memories are sweeter...

Hey Rob,

I'm in NorCal, but a bit of a distance from Napa. Napa is great though. You could be in for a bit of rain in the North part of the State so be prepared for that.
