My SPAM filter removes SPAM, things likely to be SPAM, mail unlikely to be SPAM and anything not in any of the aforementioned categories - Note. We need fewer criminals on the "streets" not more locks on our homes.

I checked my filter to see what it decided to dump today. A producer wrote to me asking if I was interested in being the voice on 5 TV commercials which will run over Christmas on 4 national stations. SPAM decided I wasn't. I disagreed. Just as well I checked.

I have taken to checking twice a day.

Some attachments trigger a spam catch-- Like a freakin' script!
quite often it's URLs in the text.

Just checked mine. Nothing.

My big lucrative gig must be caught in my spam filter's spam filter.

Just checked mine too...

Hmmmmm... Certain people still think I need to be enhanced... Others think I need a new watch... and others still want me to work for their overseas company. Oh yes... I almost forgot about those offers of $14 million, just to divulge my bank account numbers.

It's sad. I get so much spam it's hard to go through it all looking for messages of interest. I've pretty much given up.

Had something similar in my spam trap a few days ago, plus an email from an old friend I hadn't heard from in ages. So, now I more regularly check the "junk drawer" in my email software...

Twice in the last week I won sweepstakes totaling over a million dollars. One of them was the well known Micro-soft drawing.
And a couple weeks ago I was left some money by an unknown relative that amounted to more than a million. It makes a person wonder....what am I doing here???

I've been in the habit of scrolling through mine regularly, just to make sure, for a while now. Even the subject lines make for some entertaining reading at times...

If your ISP uses the traditional Control Panel, check if they have BoxTrapper. BoxTrapper issues a confirmation to the sender, which must be confirmed, prior to forwarding the message to the recipient. It's the only thing I've seen so far that really 86's the spam. The other crap just scores too many false positives.
