I read about this Book this morning and thought i'd pass it along. all the proceeds go to two charities: Fisher House which donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers - ala Ronald McDonald Houses and Wounded Warrior Project which is pretty self-explanatory.

I was also reminded of this - Eleanor Roosevelt's Wartime Prayer:

Dear Lord,

Lest I continue
My complacent way,
Help me to remember that somewhere,
Somehow out there
A man died for me today.
As long as there be war,
I then must
Ask and answer
Am I worth dying for?

Thanks, Todd. This is great info. My Father -In -Law is one of the dwindling numbers of WWII vets, so this really hits home. There are so many Veterans who have fallen on hard times, and they deserve dignity and respect. Love the prayer, too.
