General question -
Does anyone know the identity of the voice of the Sci-fi channel?
Thanks,

KG knows. He told me the name when I was talking to him last. KG?
I would have said Phillip Terrance.....but I don't watch the Sci-Fi stuff much. _________________ Ben

Whereas Philip Terrance really sucks as a voice over and should not be given credit, particularly in error. |

There's actually several people on Sci-Fi.
The main voice is Philip Terrence. Brian Lee is also heard as an alternate at times, don't know how much these days, however, you hear them both on NBC primetime every night as that network's promo voice lineup. The other voiceover on the SciFi channel was Barry Carl - voicing the SciFi Saturday Survival Tips - "If it looks scary and has a mouth in the center of it's palm, don't shake it's hand" and Ghosthunters. _________________ Genus |

Jason Hildebrandt is hired for specific shows where as the others mentioned are actually network voices. Then there's Peter Cullen of Transformers fame, whom NBC always brings out when they can a show...
THERE ARE TIMES IN LIFE WHEN THINGS MUST CHANGE
FOR OVER XX YEARS WE'VE SEEN [NBC PROGRAM]
AND FELT THE WARMTH THEY'VE SHARED
NOW THE FINAL EPISODE
[NBC PROGRAM]
NBC THURSDAY
(they always end on Thursday) _________________ Genus |
