By 1630 GMT today I had eaten, had hair cut, walked dog, organised hotel for visitors arriving tomorrow, washed dog and dealt with miscellaneous administrative matters.

Voice Over work - Nil
Income - Nil.

Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

it's been nice knowing you, pip!

i had a huge (and very early) start to the day. when i went downstairs to make more java, i about passed out at the clock--not even 9am!

if this keeps up, i won't be joining you anytime soon, banksey Wink
and that is bittersweet.

I'm lucky, I do have a paying gig today. Unfortunately, my wife just left to get her nails done (all 10 of them) so I'll just barely come out on top.

Yeah, you're lucky she didn't have the other 10 done... that would set you back even more. Smile

I'm "off" today too, it appears. Folding my mountain of laundry (uhh... yeah... it's two weeks worth of clothes...) and chilling out doing stuff around the house. I expect next week will be slow since it's the holiday. And, if I felt like I had the extra cha-ching, I'd be doing what Jeff's wife and DB just did. I'm really "pulling in the horns" as my mother used to say.

But, I did work this week, and last... and I got all of my Thanksgiving cards to clients/agents out yesterday, with Starbucks giftcards in them for some. DONE!!! YAY!!

Woke up this a.m. socially hung over from a charity event I hosted last night.

2 cups of coffee and a shower.

Saw myself on TV and wondered why I hadn't spent more time on my hair prior to shooting...good Lord I'm cheesy on TV.

Gobbed on some make-up and now I'm off to attempt new headshots.

No VO for me either today....the end is near...

She claims to be able to get all 4 paws done for $35 including tip. Thankfully the gig is a fair amount more than that, so I'll have a tad bit of spending money on vacation tomorrow. Or save it for my VOICE 2008 fund.

Philip,
I'm very sorry to hear of your troubles. Lucky for you, there is that Christmas stocking that just came that you can dip into if needed.

Did I ever tell you guys I used to own a nail salon? Manicures, pedicures, waxing, tips, acrylic, etc... Had it for 5 years. Sold the business. Divorced the wife. Made a profit on one, lost money on the other. (guess which goes with which!)

Philip, if you want to go through a career change and be a nail technician, I can give you some tips.

Wow. Such a deal. Here in the burg where I live, four paws sets you back about $50. More, if you help.

One paid spot this morning...one charity PSA for a long time client.

Does one cancel out the other?
