From the bottom of THIS writer's heart, thank you!
We put the right words in the right places and touch people's hearts and minds with ideas, and then get told "Well, anybody can write!"
Keeping the writing muse happy requires a fire in the belly... _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Yesterday on another forum, it was opined that a producer's contribution is more "quantifiable" than a writer's, and that without the financing said producer brings, no story can be completed.
I pointed out that since the writers do the actual --- wait for it --- writing, their contribution is just as essential and doesn't need "quantifying", for cryin' out loud. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

Thank you, Bob.
I'm sure Dave didn't mean another VO Forum, although I am beginning to have my suspicions that such things really do exist. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Deirdre,
I've heard those same rumors, but even if they're true, there's no place like home. _________________ Be well,

You are all "up in the night". Another forum? You are dreamin'...
I agree with some of the reasons the WGA is on strike, I personally do not like their tactics. I know, I know... get the attention of the consumer and Management will listen, -- maybe.
Without Voiceover Artists how would movies sound? Now that's a huge question... (remember most movies have voiceover's created by the actors (ADR) too, therefore they become VoiceOver Artists). Even the singing was "voiceover" in the early days... the songs were lip sync'd for quality.
So what part of the DVD, internet market are we (as VoiceOver Artists) getting?
Toodles

Todd,
That's what that movie was about? Huh! Amazing what you learn on the VO-BB. _________________ Be well,

That video was just the beginning. How about:

Financiers, producers, directors, actors, technical crew and writers may like to reflect on this one .....
