Well, I was finally able to meet Peter last night. What an incredibly nice guy! We spent over 2 hours talking voice over, babies, and thunderstorms. We were sad that Bob Souer was unable to join us (something about a recording session...sheesh!), but enjoyed our dinner none-the-less.
I'm sorry to say I was caught in a major hail and lightning storm on Mt Mitchell last week and lost my camera to the torrential downpour (yes, my husband warned me it would rain but I ignored him). Therefore, there is not one single picture of Peter and I. Oh well, at least 2 more VO-BB'ers got to meet! _________________ Threadjackers local 420

Yeah, my dad had a session through SourceConnect which unfortunately got canceled for last night because of problems with it dropping or something along those lines. |

I hate that I missed our dinner together Kara and Peter. The Source Connect actually worked almost perfectly; but there were a few drop-outs here and there. Since we'd had Internet troubles while I was in Ecuador I needed to talk with the cable company to get back up and running fully.
All in all, we learned much and continue to work out way to ironing out the last of the bugs in this process.
Still, I sure wish I could have made the dinner as it would have been lovely to see both Kara (who, it must be admitted is the lovelier of the 2) and Peter again. I still hoping to catch at least a little bit of Peter's time when he comes back to Charlotte for his trip home. _________________ Be well,

WHAT?!
I'll have you know that during dinner, EVERYONE in the restaurant was CLEARLY pointing at ME and talking!
Well, yes....they were snickering, a couple of gafaws.
Kara did get SOME attention from the restaurant crowd. One burly man approached our table and asked Kara if I was bothering her and would she like him to beat the crap out of me. I laughed until she said "yes"!
But the doctors the blurred vision will go away about the same time as the ringing in my ears. The good news is I found out many tasty foods can be ingested through a straw.
So I've got THAT going for me....which is nice. _________________ - Peter
