First rule of thumb when confronted with "tang-tunglers" is: slow it down.
It works - seriously, and after a few tries at the slower pace you will/should be able to speed it up and make it sound correct.
Just a thought...

Yeah-- I did a couple of "taffy takes" and it all worked out. Still sounded funny the first few go-rounds.

MOM: What?

Paul likes it when department store doors have his name on them.
