Here's one from Guru tonight. Of course, I am so well versed in these techniques that I could probably sight read a mere 8 pages...and given candles and wine, perhaps I should offer to pay him? WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING!!!??? Oh, wait, it's also a rush.

I never even saw the budget, because I stopped reading after "a mere 8 pages".
I hate it when they try to tell you how small the project is and how little time it's going to take. That's always followed by a budget that you can't read without a microscope. |

Funny how they always talk about how little work it'l be when there's almost no budget. As if saying things like:
"a very small report"
"a mere 8 pages."
"it will take you less than half hour, probably 15 mins."
"That's all there's to it."
and
"just read the report"
means that there's almost no work involved.
Still, as unimportant as he'd like to make the job seem,:
"I'm looking for a very fast turnaround."
Typical.
