I'm in dire need of a new production music service. I currently subscribe to Firepower from Brown Bag and Invasion.

What I'm looking for is a service that is simply a large amount of :30 and :60 beds, and little, if any imaging work parts...I've got those out the wazoo.

Also needs to be barter.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Barter...hmm, that's a bit tougher. I always liked First Com and Aircraft but I don't think either does barter.

Canary used to but I don't see anything about it on their website anymore.

I used the Brownbag stuff at my last prod gig. Liked it, but the variety of music beds was a little weak. I gather you're looking at TM Century options? Audio Architecture looks interesting but I've never used it.

we use Essential Radio from Premiere. not the greatest library in the world. and i'm kinda stuck with it cause it doesn't cost the company anything. but there are a few beds that work.

if i had my choice i'd use FirstCom. had them years ago and loved their variety. I built a great library from all their stuff, only to be told "$200 a month was too expensive so we're dumping it." unfortunately they don't do barter.

radio and records put out a list of libraries. here's the link: http://www.radioandrecords.com/RRDirectory/Programs_Main.aspx?catId=32&catName=Production%20Libraries

We use both. Essential Radio and FirstCom. I kinda like E.R. The online search is quite handy.
