LOL!

sorry to hear that there were no audio guys at the event. The con, like every con, had it's ups and it's downs... but for the most part everyone had a good time (to quote Natasha and Adam, "it was the best Fu%&'ing con they'd ever been to").

You know it's going to be amusing when the folks you're with make it a point to go up to the rest of the guests with no other point, than to rub it in that they got tickets to the Sox/Yanks game Laugh

It got even better since I managed to find some gengas (drawings used for anime that is CGI in nature) for "Peach Girl", which was Natasha's first title. You can bet THAT little item got shown off once she landed back in Ft. Worth.

Hell, even Adam gave me a call when he landed just to thank me once again for the tix and to laugh about the great time we all had... can't wait for Otakon, when we'll all be getting together again.

It was awesome seeing you at the con DB, it's a shame you couldn't stay long with us (we had a great dinner at the North Street Grill, and then went wild watching Bree do one of the songs from "Beck" at the rave, and to watch Mike Sinterniklaas at his late night dubbing panel). Next time, we need to make more time to hang out Smile

On the side, Mike, Chris Bevins, Rob, and a few others tried to figure out what room I was in so they could raid it for all the sweet gear I just got. I'll be putting up pictures and reviews about everything after I get home Smile

You say "'Peach Girl', which was Natasha's first title."

First title as what?

You need to understand that most people here don't know the folks you're talking about.

Sorry I wasn't able to join you all on Saturday evening. My daughter had food poisoning for a couple of days, and I wanted to play mommy nursemaid. next time.

Sorry DB, I was pressed for time when I wrote that.

Natasha was the Funimation Brand Manager you met on Saturday. She walked out with us when we ran into Travis Willingham (VA who played Roy Mustang in FMA).

Peach Girl was the first title she ever represented. Smile

Chrissy... NP, gotta make sure the kids are okay. After all, they'll be picking out our nursing homes one day, lol.

I remember Natasha, to be sure! but I just didn't know what her position is at Funimation.
Nice job on getting her the drawing! That was very thoughtful.

I have my moments... my gf and I felt it was appropriate considering how hard she'd worked on it. Natasha went above and beyond to drum up support for the title, and since it'll be released soon, it seemed like the right thing to do Smile

Besides, she and Adam (another brand manager) have done a lot of cool stuff for me in the past. Adam got to go to the Sox game, Natasha gets something she'd been looking for since last year.

Seems more than fair to me... Smile

Besides, I'm still riding high off of all the new gear I picked up Bitchin

*double post no jitsu*

Made it back last night. We took the time to tour Boston, Salem, Portsmouth and the lower part of Maine, Newport, RI and finally Mystic, CT. WOW... I need to take more vacation time.

I'll be putting up pics from Mercenary tonight or tomorrow... depending on fatigue. The sad part is that I'm sad to be back... I was having way too much fun.

But I have some new goodies for the studio, met DB and made new friends, witnessed the Yanks getting spanked first hand by the Sox, and had a door opened for me (professionally speaking) that I wasn't expecting.

And of course... drank with Fletcher, Jay, Adam, and the guys from Mercenary Smile
