Paypal has an invoicing service. Simple, easy to use. Other people like invoice.com, but it costs for each invoice. Anyone have a pro and con about each service?

Hey Jeff,

I seem to recall this hitting the board in the past so there might be a thread on it somewhere in the achives... so you could search there.

FWIW, I don't use either as I do my own invoicing using QuickBooks Pro at no charge.

I didn't find anything in the archives specifically about this, but I could be wrong.

well that's half of it, in favor of Invoice.com. But I'm wondering if anyone's used the paypal invoicing system.

Hey Jeff!

I normally create my invoices in QuickBooks and email them directly to my clients.
They can either pay me via check or "Send Money" via Paypal to my email account, their choice.

I have also used the invoice creation in Paypal when some clients have asked and then created an invoice in QuickBooks for my records.

I like both systems as they are easy.

I haven't used Invoice.com, but don't feel the need to with both Paypal & QB at my disposal.

Hope this helps!

Liz

I've used PayPal invoicing dozens of times with zero problems. Some clients seem to prefer it, especially the ones who pay same day as delivery or in advance. I'm going to QuickBooks emailed invoices one of these days for the rest of my clients, but my PayPal payers will probably prefer to stay with Hobo Tounge.

I've used both. I like Invoice.com because it TRACKS things for me. Sends out pesky little reminders for me.

I like PayPal because it's easier. Unfortunately for me, easier means I forget who's paid me and who ain't (creative, right-brained. ADD type).

I take my pills and use invoice.com. Its 50c per invoice with NO monthly fee. I'm cheap... QuickBooks is like $10,000 for the basic version. ick.

And NOW an ADD moment brought to you by "I didn't take my pills".... I was just at this really cool website and some guy named Zefrank said some really cool stuff... but maybe I should post that in it's own post. Oh yeah... also... I saw Sean Morey (The Man Song... Bob & Tom) live this evening here in Bend. OK... I'm done.

Dave,

Thanks to Roy Williams and his Monday Morning Memo, I too just discovered Zefrank. Strangely, wonderfully, weird.
