Well, I can sign into my voices account now but my logo and demo aren't up, the jobs stuff is all messed up.. and on. They must be having to rebuild just about everything. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

As I recall, it took several days to rebuild this little place.
I can only imagine what Voices is going through. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I definately do not envy them the undertaking. The Voices.com site now says it is under construction.
Let's send them our best vibes for a speedy recovery.

UPDATE FROM STEPHANIE
Quote: | Hi Deirdre,
Thank you for your email. It has been incredibly frustrating as you can imagine.
I wrote a blog post earlier this afternoon that gives an update on what we went through and what we've been doing / have done to get through all of this:
http://blogs.voices.com/voxdaily/2007/04/voices_com_under_attack.html
You have my permission to include this in your chat - David and I just read it and are thankful for the good vibes coming our way.
One thing - the server that was hacked was the "Application Server" which has all of the pages and software code NOT the database server that contains member information.
Please convey that so people are not concerned about the misuse of their personal data. The database server is seriously locked down and safe from hackers.
The updates are occurring in alphabetical order. The Images folder was updated no too long ago, however, the folders include the flash players have not yet been restored. Patience, everyone!
This is the exact reason why we chose Rackspace because they guarantee full restore within 24 hours. David was on the phone with them on and off last night through 2 a.m. this morning. Great response time and support! |

I never really cared for the Occam's Razor. I get a much closer shave with a Remington.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all of your support - it's been just phenomenal and encouraging, both here on the VO-BB and on VOX Daily where comments are pouring in.
I wish I were posting my first reply under happier circumstances, however, after what we've been through during the last 24 hours, this is a happy time!
What a relief...
Again, thank you! This is what community is all about
We love you all,
Stephanie and the Voices.com Team
http://www.voices.com
P.S. A special thank you to Deirdre for all her help and for posting our update. The VO-BB is amazing... can't wait to get involved (and one of those t-shirts)! |

Hey David! I loved it. Thanks for asking. How about you?
Here are the best pics of the trip starting the dam: http://web.mac.com/alextorrenegra/iWeb/Site/Las%20Vegas%20to%20LA%20Road%20Trip.html (pay special attention to the pic called "No comments" )
In reference to the hacking, are you completely sure it was at Voice123? So far we have not detected any successful hacking effort in our servers (knock on wood). We are keeping a closer eye than usual, though. |

Alex - those are really wonderful pictures! If you need another career you could take up photography. What kind of magic did you use on the Gunfight shot? _________________ Playing for a living...
