Welcome Mandy! I've only been on this board for a few weeks, but as you know since you had the opportunity to meet most of them in person (lucky girl), these are good people!!

See you on the boards!

Oh dear woman, this home has more oddities than a Ripley’s Museum. It’s a bit like Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. I’m probably most like Bloo. If This were Seinfeld… I’d be Kramer.

Welcome home. The inmates are running the asylum.

Hi Mandy,

See what happens when we let 'em out for a little while?
It'll take all night to rope 'em in.

Welcome to the zoo. Wink

Thanks for the 'warnings' everybody:) Now, let me tell you about QUITE a coincidence that happened today:

I write my first post, and it's about 'being home. Ten minutes later, I leave for a VO/radio/studio networking luncheon that happens here every Friday at Skyline Chili. As I drive, I turn to the country station, and think "Gee, I did those sweepers for the station months and months ago and I still haven't heard them. Everyone else has but me. I wonder how Roland (guy at the station) is doing. Gosh, they were fun to do. I wonder if he'll need any more soon. (Blah, blah, blah)". The SECOND I shut up in my head, THERE I WAS ON THE RADIO!! How cool is that?!

Now for the really weird part: It was the sweeper where I said "Whenever I listen to the station, I just feel like I'm at home. Really at home."

Exactly what I was expressing to you all moments earlier. The universe is telling me something! Pour on the Kool-Aid...I'm here to stay!

Amanda

Hi Mandy!

That's ok..I stood next to Michelle Phillips talking and eating shrimp at a party and didn't know who it was until she walked away.

And if you want to waste some MORE time, do a search on Mike Nichols and Elaine May - one of the premiere comedy duos of all time.
I'm showing my age, aren't I...

Hi Amanda,

Glad you finally found your way in here. I guess it took you a while to figure your way through our board mistress's security system. It's designed to keep out any miscreants attempting to corrupt our fine institution with logical and well reasoned messages that appeal to out higher sense of values and.....well, anyway, you're in now. So please try to maintain the low standards we are accustomed to.

Maiku.
