They just don't write 'em like that anymore, now, do they??

I wonder how many of those folks used to yell at their kids for playing their Who records too loudly way back when...

Ok that is so. frickin. cool.

I've never even heard of that instrument. Really neat sound.

Here's one of my favorite not-incredibly-well-known musicians. I've had the pleasure of seeing him perform live twice in a tiny little place near here. The guy's amazing:

(from about 2:40 to 3:40 things get a bit blurry on the strumming hand haha)

Allen,

I blame it on you... now I have to buy a Chapman Stick. I am going to leanr how to play it and with any luck, get good enough to have someone else listen.

Wow, what an instrument.

Thank you.

so that's what that instrument is! I recognize the sound but always just assumed it was a couple guitars or something. That's really cool. Thanks for sharing it Allen.

Allen,

I can't promise what will be coming out of the instrument by next year will anything you want to hear, but I am going to be looking at a Stick which is for sale locally this weekend.

I fool around with a 12-string guitar, but this is totally a unique technique which will be interesting to learn. Now I have some time on my hands - who knows what wil transpire.
