Actually, I gotta move to cooler climes.

Oy! I went to Phoenix once when it was 116 degrees outside. I thought I was going to die and I am from Utah where it breaks triple digits every year. It's just not the same as Phoenix where it's hot as a chicken pot pie almost all the time. |

It was snowing big blobs of wet stuff last night as I left Boston.
Pretty ugly running from the Green line stop at Copley over to catch the
train at Back Bay.
Here in CT? Heavy rain. Today, grey and cool.

Being from NY, I kind of miss the foot+ snowfalls. I have many great memories of sledding, tubing, playing football, etc. in the snow. Sigh...
Instead, here in NC, the closest thing to snow we get in April is the wonderful yellow-green pine tree pollen that covers EVERYTHING for a month and a half.

So much for global warming!!! but it's done this 2 years in a row here...all the flowers come out early...we get all the pretty trees, and then we have a darn frost and they freeze their little petals off! In March I'm like "noooo little flower, stay in your bud!!!" |

I spent 20 minutes this evening wrapping my Jasmine in plastic bags. We usually get a short last freeze around this time- but we are dropping into the 20's this weekend! We may break some records...
I want to cry...my blueberries, blackberries- they are all bundled up. _________________ Threadjackers local 420

I feel your pain Kara. I just got back in from wrapping up my wife's aloe, hydrangea, rose and whatever the heck else she's got out there. The whole east coast is messed up. Somehow we're under a freeze warning and a fire watch tonight. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

I heard a meteorologists on MSNBC say it was payback for the warm March. Those with the snow, I'm really sorry. I'll let you know that here in Georgia the "outhouse" is freezing. |

I spent the day in SC shooting 2 commercials...OUTSIDE! It was so cold! I kept having to do retakes- the wind would blow and my throat would freeze up! Then, I'm driving home- the sun comes out and I'm now in a tank-top.
Of course, we're about to go out and rewrap all the plants for the freeze tonight.
Weird.
For those of you that like snow and cold...I wish you much of it (as long as you maintain power and are safe)- for the rest of us...PLEASE bring back spring! _________________ Threadjackers local 420
