That can only be the explanation for the giddy feeling I have following todays rejection. Mailed out one my demos over the weekend to Access Talent NYC, legendary agency. Today, got a personal call from agency head Linda Weaver, equally legendary in the biz. Says thank you for the demo, which was quite interesting and frankly terrific...(her words, not mine) but there's just no room on the roster right now. She asked me to give her call in 6 months.
I feel like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer after the doe tells him he's cute.
"Cute? She thinks I'm cute." (deer-like celebration ensues.
I'm feeling pretty good, thinking that maybe finally I have a demo that resonate with the big boys and girls, even though this is technically a rejection. Have I been in front of my equipment too long?
And totally disregard the third vodka tonic nearby.

People talk... great thing about this business.
There are other agencies of good history and strong reputation if you're so inclined... especially after receiving such a nice response (even if it was a rejection).
Just saying is all. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Congrats!!! And, this should make you feel better too... I just looked on my db, and I sent them my demo on Feb. 19, and haven't heard back from them.
Good for you!!!! _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!
