These piss me off. One of the leads from a pay for play site today says:
"We're doing a quick PSA for the launch of a client's new charity/product launch. It's a short read and we need a full sign off of the rights as this will be a PSA package and we're not certain how the media will use the spot. It's a charity for pets, so the budget is small."
Uh-huh. The ad directs you to a national chain's website.
Can't you just imagine the meeting:
"Jane, how can we advertise the new xyz product line for cheap?"
"Well Bob, kids and pets are always popular."
"Great!" _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

well let's hope that the entire production crew TV & radio stations are donating too,....to something they don't know how they are going to use yet from the major national brand chain.
RED FLAG-"budget is small". If we all keep hitting the delete key, just imagine what could happen..... _________________ Bobbin Beam

Agreed... I was curious about that one myself. Read it thru several time to see the correlation between charity and the business. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!
