TV promo session last week and the producer wanted a different spin on something. See what you think.

It has a great Sin City look to it. It seems like one of those series that could go either way...amazing or unwatchable.

I had to listen thrice...Banksey...t'was certainly different: Roger Moore does Edward G Robinson.
A different spin he wanted; a different spin he got!
Worked for me.
And - as ever - a pro delivery.

I agree, a very pro delivery. I liked the animation and I liked your read but I'm not sure how I feel about the two together. It's definately different.

In the end, if that's what the producer wanted then good on ya... You know it was a fine perfomance and definately creative, but watching and listening to it as a potential viewer of the program, I didn't like it! It just seems like an odd combination of vocal and visual elements... the two just don't mesh with eachother for me.

However, far be it from us to question the final production decisions. It's our job to give them what they want, with high quality and in as few takes as possible. In that vein.. Great Job Phillip! Now Collect Your PayCheque and Pass Go!

Have a great weekend everybody!

I liked it because it was so different....they/you took a risk to do something out of the box and I think it was really cool. That voice was pleasantly strange...which matched the visuals very well.

Banksey, I think you created a new accent.....Bogish (ala Bogey/British).

Very nice job Philip. I think the graphics worked... in a retro kind of way. The Hulk pre-dates his TV debute by 15 years.

I loved the visuals and thought the vocal style was a nice counterpoint.

Before the music changes to the TV theme from The Incredible Hulk I would've gone for a piece featuring a muted trumpet. Classic black and white private investigator movie sound.
