Tom,
I have no doubt we'll find you. My photo and Donovan's are both in this thread. I too am 6'1", though I suspect I'm a bit bigger around the middle than you are. _________________ Be well,

Hey! It's the 6'1" crew! I too am part of that club. So much in common... oh and the whole voiceover thing or whatever. _________________ Donovan

You may want to exclude me from that photo...lol....I'm not very photogenic and would more than likely ruin an otherwise great pic.....My only reason for taking up voiceover work.....lmao _________________ TG2

Deirdre,
It would take a crane and an act of God to get any high kicks out of me anymore. I don't think Rockettes is quite the right metaphor. _________________ Be well,

It's too bad I'm not there. I would make a perfect landmark being as tall as I am. |

Hey! I'm also 6'1".....
Well, I'm finally here. And who do I meet in the lobby just after I check in? Frank & his better half along with Penny & James. A pretty auspicious start I think. They were heading off to catch a magic show. I've opted for a shower and something to eat. I've been awake now for over 24 hours and even though the delights of Vegas are calling me to come and explore I'd better not if I'm to be in any way human for the meet and greet tomorrow.
having said that though.....

What I've learned in 3 hours in Vegas...
Be prepared for a fight when retrieving your luggage from the carrousel. These people are either here to hurry up and gamble or hurry up and get to a work convention...they will not allow you near the carrousel without a struggle.
Once you've retrieved your luggage- go to exit 4 for a cab or exit 8 for a shuttle.
Load your own luggage in the cab or shuttle. I repeat...load you own luggage. If you choose to allow the cab driver to put your luggage in his trunk...it will be done so with a force like no other. At this point you will hear a large snapping sound. It will only be after you have gotten to your hotel and unpacked that you will discover the 'snap' was actually every demo CD you brought. No amount of packaging will save them...trust me.
If you are staying at the Marriott Suites like I am- try the garden burgers in the restaurant. They are to die for.
Everyone here is very friendly...but the air is unbelievably DRY- so be prepared to drink lots of water!
OK, that's it for now...we are off to go explore and then to Nobu for some sushi this evening (that's my mom and I- who is here for another convention). We may even stop by The Palace to look around!
Safe travels! _________________ Threadjackers local 420

Oh Kara...
If you didn't bring a computer & need one to burn some CDs on, just let me know.

Moe,
That would be just fine by me. Not knowing how long the ride to and from the hotel takes, I'd say we should be able to make something happen. Which airline are you coming in on? _________________ Be well,
