Hee hee that's a good story. I got to work with George a little bit some years back. I was producing video games and we were working on a project and I had LOVED the music that he'd done for, among other things, Origin's Savage Empire (one of the two "Worlds of Ultima" games they did).
So for this project we were working on, I wanted the music to be good and fun and I wanted the theme song to sorta spoof some Bond theme music. I hired George to do the music and I loved what he did with the theme song (complete with pseudo-quasi-Shirley Bassey-esque vocals). In fact, he has it on his website...

Sadly, the game was killed as often happens in that biz and so only people going to his website got to hear it haha. But, yeah, he's a good guy...I can understand why you'd want to work for him!
Anyway, I really enjoyed the auditions I did last year for Delimex frozen Mexican food, where I got to intersperse purposefully-mispronounced Spanish words into character voice reads of the copy. It was a blast and I was really bummed that I didn't get it. Sigh.
