...where has the time gone!

In just a week, all-y'all will be arriving in Las Vegas for V.O.I.C.E., and it seems like every day James, Penny, and Frank have sweetened the pot for attendees.

Please know I'm here with any assistance if you get snagged with an 11th-hour SNAFU, or have a question.

I told my wife 'n' kids they won't see me most of next week (I shoulda just got a room at Palace Station).

--Who's going to be the official VO-BB picture-taker?
--What can we already start planning to bring back to VO-BB'ers who COULDN'T come to V.O.I.C.E?
--VO-BB T-shirts anyone?
--Anyone still interested in a VO-BB bowling party?

Can't wait...!!!

Dave,

I've been trying to work out the details to bring my bowling ball and shoes with me to Las Vegas, so I sure hope we're still planning to go bowling! The shoes are no problem, of course; but I'm still not sure that I'll be allowed to bring a 16 pound composite resin ball onto the plane. Smile

Even if I can't bring my ball, I'm looking forward to tossing a few down the lanes there in Las Vegas.

Even more, of course, I'm looking forward to seeing so many talented people in one room.

As for those who can't be there, I don't know about any one else, but I'm planning to post some kind of thoughts and observations every day both here (as I did last year during the Dan O'Day Summit) and on my blog. With photos if and when possible, though I'm sure I'm the worst photographer at VOICE 2007.

Hi- I am looking forward to meeting those of you vo-bbers who on come to the event. Since I am working as staff, I've been informed it's pretty much a 7:30AM-5:30 PM gig..... But there must still be time to hang out & get to know folks, too. I am probably one of the worst bowlers, but am always game. Sure hope Dave, who I hear is our illustrious emcee for the entire event, can swing a visit to the station for some of us who are interested in a tour. WOW. Can't believe it's one week away. I better start packin'. Hey, Bob, I'll bring my camera, & will be happy to share photos.

I never go anywhere without my camera! I'll be happy to post pictures when I can with a whole slew of 'em when we return! Plus, I'll be writing about it on my blog as well. I'm no Bob Souer, but I can put two sentences back to back! cool

My mom is attending a computer conference of some sort at the same time only 2 miles away...I'll have to see if I can drag her out bowling! Single men in your 50's-60's??? She's a HOTTIE!! Bitchin

I'll lie down in the gutter for you, Liz!

So, ladies-- what are we wearing to VOICES? I assume business suits, pantyhose, silk scarves fastened in a brooch, and closed-toed pumps... right?

A VO-BB T-shirt has been designed by Dieter, but they won't in print in time for this shindig.

How about buttons?
Does someone have a button-maker?
You can hit me up for a design.

My "bodyguard" is up for taking some of us to a shooting range.
Let me know if you want to go-- we don't know when yet.

Blam Blam!!

My wardrobe is a closely-guarded secret.

Deirdre,

I'd certainly be up for a bit of shooting, though I'm a really poor shot. Bowling and shooting and voiceover, Oh My! This is going to be a fun week.

DB,

I've got a friend here who pumps out promotional stuff for the casinos like it's water.

If you want to share the design with me, I'll go for buttons, and any other suggestions.... pens? Hooded sweatshirts?....ok, pens.

Only on Day 1!
Day 2 will be my Jackie-O inspired frock...not sure what Day 3 will bring....Oh the decisions we ladies must make!.....do they allow closed-toed pumps at the bowling alley?

Yeah, RIGHT!!!! Sticking out Tongue

Well, I bought a new camera for this, so there'll be plenty of pictures going online from me. I also have my R-09 with me to capture all those after hours events in glorious stereo for later editing and posting. Also, if enough people are interested I'll do a 5 minute unedited podcast recorded in Jack's Irish Pub every evening with whoever I can persuade to join me in the late/early hours.

And Courvo, I'm in on the bowling so long as nobody is bringing a video camera!

I just hope I survive the 11 hours of flying and the sanity threatening jet-lag.

Maiku.

Oh yeah. Out-of-towner question. What the temperature like this time of year?
